K9 NYX BRONZE STATUE UNVEILING EVENT

K9 Nyx was more than just a working dog; she was a beloved partner to her handler and a protector of our community. Her sacrifice touched us all and highlighted the crucial role that K9 officers play in ensuring our safety. To honor Nyx’s courage and to keep her legacy alive, Friends of the Rockford Police K9 Unit has commissioned a bronze statue in her likeness. This statue will stand as a powerful reminder of her service and dedication and as a tribute to the essential work of all K9 officers.
